Sarah’s late brother Dr. David Hammond began producing and selling yogurt from his dairy cows in Amenia, NY. The yogurt starting selling across the Hudson Valley, and in New York City at the Union Square Greenmarket. The salesperson? Sarah’s retired husband Bob. Sarah “Perfect”, started baking homemade granola to accompany the yogurt consumed on a daily basis. Bob being the biggest fan of Sarah’s cooking, convinced her to start making small batches to sell alongside the yogurt. As he expected, the granola began selling as quickly as the yogurt. Unfortunately, the yogurt business has ceased, but Bob’s love and determination for the granola has continued and grown over the years. We hope you try it and agree!
